Music at the Library: WordStage presents Shubert's Wintereisse
A cycle of songs by Franz Shubert composed to the poetry of his friend and colleague Wilhelm Muller, performed by CIM faculty member Mark Wanich and accompanied by CIM resident accompanist, pianist Adam Whiting. In between the sections of this monumental cycle, WordStage founding artistic director Tim Tavcar will read letters and diary entrees Shubert wrote about the cycle, composed at the end of his all too brief life.
Performed with a dessert intermission.
