Monthly Luncheon - How a Broken Neck Strengthened My Spirit
Scott Fedor suffered a broken neck and was left paralyzed after a diving accident. He is the founder and president of, Getting Back Up, a nonprofit that assists spinal cord-injured individuals. Prior to his injury, he served as Vice President of a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary. He is an advocate member of the Adversity 2 Advocacy Alliance, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit which promotes turning personal challenges into service to others. He also serves as a Board Member for, LEAP, a nonprofit which assists individuals living with disabilities.
Scott Fedor is a professional keynote speaker, author, and disability advocate. He is the author of the Amazon bestseller, Head Strong: How a Broken Neck Strengthened My Spirit, and his blogs have been featured across several media outlets, including, U.S. News & World Report, The Mighty, and Lea Black.
Mr. Fedor holds a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University, where he also minored in Communications and Mandarin Chinese; and an M.B.A. in Marketing from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He currently resides in Westlake, Ohio.
