COSE (Council of Smaller Enterprises) conducted its first Small Business and Home-Based Business Survey of Firms in the fall of 2008. The goal was to better understand the disparities between home and non-home based businesses and the characteristics of these companies, so that COSE could both quantify the realities of operating a home-based business and improve its support of the home-based business sector.

 

Our HOL speaker will be Pat Pell, COSE Home-Based Network Leader, who designs quality educational and networking programs, as well as provides resources and opportunities for home-based businesses.  She is a former home-based business owner herself and for many years served clients as a networking consultant. Most recently, she was the Executive Director of the Parma-area Chamber of Commerce.

 

Cost: $5, payable at the door in small bills or by check.
