Prospective Premium Billing is coming soon and May/June is the kick-off time! It's very important that you pay close attention to dates beginning next month as the BWC begins to transition employers into a new billing system.

With the BWC's movement from retrospective to prospective invoicing, the timeliness of your payments and attention to detail is crucial to maintaining your active status as a covered employer.

 Important Information:

• Failure to report payroll on time in August 2015 will cause employers to lose 8 months of premium credits
• Failure to pay premiums on time using the new model will result in penalties and interest.
• Employers will be responsible for the costs of any claims, dollar for dollar, that occur during a period of coverage lapse.
• Failure to report payroll or pay amounts due at the time of the year-end "true up" will result in discount program disqualification, including group rating.
