Beachwood Arts Council "Diversity Fest II"

The second program will highlight the richness of the Italian and Korean communities. Serena Scaiola, Honorary Vice Consul of Italy in Cleveland will be a featured speaker with music provided by “A Glass of Wine”with Joe Abateon mandolin and Jerry Salerno,on guitar. Art by Giancarlo Calicchia, a stone sculptor and painter and MarcelloMellino, a photographer, will be displayed.  Dr. Mellino, a cardiologist, is a self taught photographer.  He is a member of the Lakewood Photographic Society, BayArts and the West Short Art League and an organizer of the Annual Medical Staff Arts shows at Lakewood and Fairview Hospitals. He specializes in marine images. Donald Pak, President of the Korean American Association will speak and Martial Arts will be demonstrated by the World Champion Tae Kwon Do School.  Paintings by Sunia Boneham, a painter and SeungBo Roh, will be displayed. After the programs visitors can snack on ethnic treats.
