DESCRIPTION:Beachwood Arts Council "Diversity Fest II"\n\n\n\nSunday\, March 11\, 2-5 PM\n\nBeachwood Community Center\n\n\n\nThe second program will highlight the richness of the Italian and Korean communities. Serena Scaiola\, Honorary Vice Consul of Italy in Cleveland will be a featured speaker with music provided by "A Glass of Wine"with Joe Abateon mandolin and Jerry Salerno\,on guitar. Art by Giancarlo Calicchia\, a stone sculptor and painter and MarcelloMellino\, a photographer\, will be displayed.  Dr. Mellino\, a cardiologist\, is a self taught photographer.  He is a member of the Lakewood Photographic Society\, BayArts and the West Short Art League and an organizer of the Annual Medical Staff Arts shows at Lakewood and Fairview Hospitals. He specializes in marine images. Donald Pak\, President of the Korean American Association will speak and Martial Arts will be demonstrated by the World Champion Tae Kwon Do School.  Paintings by Sunia Boneham\, a painter and SeungBo Roh\, will be displayed. After the programs visitors can snack on ethnic treats. \n\n\n\n"Diversity Fest" runs March 4th - March 27\, 2012\n\nat the Beachwood Community Center\n\nHours:    Mon-Fri -- 10 AM -4 PM\n\n                Saturdays -- 10 AM - 3 PM\n\n                Sundays -- 10 AM - 1 PM\n\n\n\nThe Beachwood Arts Council is an all-volunteer\, nonprofit organization that has supported the arts in Northeast Ohio since 1964.  Its efforts not only encourage the development and appreciation of the visual and performing arts but provide access to quality art that reflects the diverse cultures of Northeast Ohio.  The Council presents art exhibitions in the contemporary galleries of the Beachwood Community Center and offers enrichment programs\, tours and volunteer opportunities that cultivate creativity and community.
