This month's 2009 Global Gateway, a professional development series presented by leading law and business faculty to help companies make informed business decisions and pursue sound strategic growth presents it's latest seminar on Friday, April 24th, entitled:
Joint Ventures, Foreign Direct Investment, and Licensing: How to Sell Your Widget Abroad
The seminar will be presented by Professor Mark Sundahl of CSU's Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. The presentation explains the different methods that a company can pursue when selling its products abroad and examines the advantages and drawbacks of each approach.
Prof. Sundahl works in the areas of international commercial law and commercial space law.He is the co-author of a treatise on secured transactions and has published articles and lectured around the world on international commercial law, space law, and legal history. He received his B.A. from UCLA and his J.D. from the University of California, Hasgings College of Law. He also holds a Ph.D. in Classics from Brown University. Prior to join the faculty at Cleveland-Marshall, he was an associate in the International Transactions Group at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in San Francisco.
Cost is $12 per lecture, which includes lunch. Seating is limited.
