Author Laird Hunt
Meet Laird Hunt, whose latest novel, NEVERHOME, follows an adventurous farmer's wife as she leaves home to don the uniform of a Union soldier in the Civil War. Laird's last book, KIND ONE, focused on the difficult subject of slavery and was awarded a 2013 Anisfield-Wolf Book Award for its contribution to society’s understanding of racism and diversity.
