October is Cyber Security Month!

Join the Beachwood Chamber on Wednesday, October 26th as Bryan Smith of the FBI discusses
The FBI is the lead federal agency for investigating cyber attacks by criminals, overseas adversaries, and terrorists.  The threat is incredibly serious ... and growing!  Cyber crime is not a technical problem and requires engagement by "non-technical" individuals. Our nation's infrastructure -- both private and public -- are targets.

• American companies for trade secrets and sensitive corporate data
• Universities for cutting-edge research and development
• Citizens are targeted by fraudsters and identity thieves and children by online predators

Our speaker, Bryan Smith, has been with the Federal Bureau of Investigation since 2002 and is currently assigned to the Cleveland Division where he supervises a Cyber squad focused on criminal cyber intrusions.
