The Small Business Succession Planning Program is a service of the Ohio Employee Ownership Center, a nonprofit based at Kent State University. The goal of the Succession Planning Program is to help small business owners in transferring the ownership of a business to the next generation, with a specialty in selling to the employees. Since 1987 we have worked with over 700 companies on succession plan development, 100 of which have implemented complete or partial employee ownership.
