Marcia Pledger, writer for the Plain Dealer, who has written columns on business etiquette and currently writes the column "My Biggest Mistake" in the Business section of the newspaper, will be our speaker on Wednesday, November 19th, 11:30 AM-1:15 PM, at Maggiano’s Little Italy.  The event is sponsored by South Pointe Hospital.

Marcia has been a journalist for over 20 years and has spoken throughout Ohio.  A graduate of the University of Missouri, she has been acknowledged by the Associated Press, Society of Professional Journalists, and the National Association of Black Journalists.  Her book, "My Biggest Mistake And How I Fixed It," is a business book filled with humble entrepreneurs who share mistakes they have made and, most importantly, offer tips and practical hints. And "There is no better person to learn from than a determined entrepreneur who has overcome an issue and moved forward."
