"Hungarian Rhapsody"
The Beachwood Arts Council will sponsor “Hungarian Rhapsody,” a three-week salute to the Hungarian community of Greater Cleveland. Featuring Hungarian artists, dancers, speakers, and cuisine. Admission is FREE. The opening program on March 3 will showcase the work of contemporary Hungarian artists Kristina Lazar, Janos Nadas, Dave Szekeres, Judy Takacs, Kristina Walter, and Peter Tabor with entertainment by the Regos Dance Troupe. “Hungarian Rhapsody’’ is curated by George Kozmon, noted Cleveland artist and director of the annual Cain Park Arts Festival. He will give an overview of Greater Cleveland’s Hungarian Community on March 3. Beachwood Arts Council co-chairs are Honey Feinberg, Rita Frankel, and Sandy Mandelbaum.
