Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland 27th Annual Promenade Fundraiser
Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland (formerly the Diabetes Association of Greater Cleveland) is hosting its 27th annual Promenade “Masquerade Benefit” sponsored by the Cleveland Clinic on October 29, 2011. The event will take place at Embassy Suites Cleveland Rockside at 5800 Rockside Woods, Independence at 6:30 pm.
This is a one-of-a-kind event touting a perfect mix of cocktails, music, dancing, feathers, beads and masks! The evening will be emceed by WKYC reporter Darrielle Snipes. Enjoy a sit-down dinner, silent auction and a smorgasbord of artistic surprises during our Dancing with the Stars entertainment, which will make this benefit a night to remember! Cocktail attire with a masquerade mask suggested. The deadline to purchase tickets is October 14, 2011.
The Cleveland celebrity dancers include FOX 8 reporter Kenny Crumpton, WOIO/19 Action News anchor Paul Joncich, Chrysa Nasca Kirsch BSN, RN, CDE, from Huron Hospital, CWRU Family Medicine Research Assistant Marcia Moreno, season 6 Biggest Loser contestant and Highland Hills police sergeant Jerry Skeabeck, WKYC anchor and reporter Maureen Kyle, and Sandhia Varyani, MD, FACOG University Hospital Ob/Gyn Associates. The showcase dance will be performed by Rebecca Sweet and Heriberto Perez from Latin Soul Ballroom.
Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland (formerly the Diabetes Association of Greater Cleveland), founded in 1954, is a local and independent nonprofit organization providing life-long programs and services to more than 8,000 children and adults with type 1 and type 2 diabetes in Greater Cleveland each year.
