Our speaker  will be Brad Hirsch, Assistant General Manager for Cleveland's soon to be Horseshoe Casino.  He will be responsible for all gaming operations whent he casino opens in 2012, including table games, slots, food and beverage, facilities and security. 

The Casino, a $350 million development inside the historic Higbee Bulding, is expected to open early next year, projected to bring nearly 5 million annual visits to Downtown Cleveland, and  offer several dining options.

During construction, nearly 2000 jobs have been created and Horseshoe Cleveland is expected to create 1600 jobs upon opening and is committed to hiring 90% of these employees from the Cleveland metropolitan area.  The Casino is projected to generate $100 million annually in gaming taxes revenue that will be distributed to the City of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, and the county's school districts during its first year.
