Our Special Guest Speaker: Carl Topilow, Conductor, Cleveland Pops Orchestra
Carl Topilow is renowned worldwide for his versatility, whether he is holding a conductor's baton or his trademark red clarinet. He is a multi-talented virtuoso who is equally at home in classical and popular music both as conductor and instrumentalist. The Cleveland Pops Orchestra was co-founded by Carl Topilow and his wife Shirley Morgenstern, who serves as the Orchestra's president and CEO. Currently in its 17th season, the Orchestra plays to large audiences in Severance Hall and several other venues throughout Northeast Ohio.
Come hear Carl discuss how the Beachwood-based Cleveland Pops Orchestra was started. "Hint: you might even catch him perform!"
