Small businesses represent a large portion of America's economic marketplace. While many entrepreneurs start successful small businesses every day, many more fail due to neglect for proper planning and preparing for business operations. The purpose of this course is to develop the owner or manager's ability to develop a business strategy that maximizes the potential for meeting business and personal goals. We will emphasize the importance of a business plan, marketing, financial management, and human resources management.
