Baseball Heritage Museum Exhibit
During the month of February, images from the collection of the Baseball Heritage Museum will be on display at the Beachwood Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library, located at 25501 Shaker Blvd in Beachwood. The show includes panels featuring "The Big Show" a short story about the legendary Satchel Page, written by Nathaniel Watson, an eighth grader in the Orange School District. Nathaniel's love for baseball began at an early age; he wrote The Big Show as a seventh grader at Hawken School, where it won the O Henry Short Story contest. The display is open to the public during library hours ; 9 to 9 Monday through Thurs, 9-5:30 Saturday and Sunday 105. Nathaniel will be present at the program " Satchel Paige: The Face of Negro League Baseball" on Saturday February 8 at 2:00 pm.
