Crowther has been president of the Cleveland Restoration Society (CRS) since 1987.  Under her leadership\, CRS has become a nationally recognized preservation organization that plays a vital role in reselling challenging preservation issues in the urban\, suburban\, and outlining regional areas of northeast Ohio.\n\n\n\nOn November 1\, 2013 Beachwood joined the Heritage Home Program.\n\n\n\nThe Heritage Home Program of the Cleveland Restoration Society provides services to the owners of houses that are more than 50 years old.  The cornerstone of the Program is free assistance and advice to homeowners on any issue relating to the repair\, maintenance\, renovation or remodeling of such an older home.  CRS will come out and visit the home for free\, will give advice as to materials and colors\, will provide the names of qualified contractors and will review contractor bids.  All of CRS's advice is completely impartial.  It is provided free to the homeowner because the City of Beachwood has contracted with CRS to provide this service.  If a homeowner would like to borrow to pay for repairs or renovations\, CRS can facilitate a low interest loan with one of CRS's participating banks.  The rates are as low as 1.85% fixed rate for up to 10 years.   Remember the home does not have to be historic- it just needs to have been built prior to 1965.\n\n\n\nLuncheon Sponsor:
