DESCRIPTION:Join us on  Wednesday\, April 14th11:30 AM - 1:15 PMat Canterbury Golf Club to hear Michael BloomArtistic Director\, The Cleveland Playhouse Mr. Bloom is the 8th Artistic Director fo The Cleveland Playhouse\, the oldest theater in the country.  he has directed productions at many of the country's major theaters\, including: American Repertory Theatre\, Manhattan Theatre Club\, Alley Theatre\, and the Sundance Playwright's Institute\, among others.  His productions have also been seen throughout Japan and in Tokyo.  His off-Broadway production of Sight Unseen garnered three Obie Awards\, and he\, himself\, received a Drama Desk nomination for drection. Among the playwright's he's worked with are John Robin Baitz\, David Hare\, Arthur Kopit\, David Mamet\, and others. Mr. Bloom's articles on theater have appeared  in American Theatre Magazine and the New York Times.  His book Thinking Like a Director was published in 2001. Cost: $25--Members\, $30--Nonmembers RSVP no later than Friday\, April 9th. Special Meal Requests must be received no later than April 9th.  Please note under COMMENTS when registering. Arrive no later than 11:40 AM for additional netwroking and enter to receive a FREE lunch. The luncheon is sponsored by Cuyahoga Community College-East.
