About Us

Canterbury Golf Club is a classical golf course located in one of Cleveland's most scenic suburbs.

The facility consists of an 18 hole golf course of exceptional design originally created by Herbert Strong, acclaimed golf course architect and founding member of the PGA of America.

Canterbury also has a clubhouse and restaurant, as well as a driving range facility, swimming pool, tennis courts & paddle courts.

For 100 years, Canterbury has aimed to create an excellent experience for Members.

Club Vision: To offer the Premier club and golfing experience in Northeast Ohio, complimented by an excellent social, athletic and entertaining environment.

~Since 1932 Canterbury has been host to 13 Tournaments and Championships
~History: CGC is recognized as one of the Top 100 Classic courses in the U.S. by Golf Week Magazine and one of the three finest in Ohio. A traditional Scottish course, demanding but fair, with a great variation of holes.

~Family and Children's Programs and Activities -
Golf, Tennis, Paddle, Swimming, Swim Team, Private Instruction.

~ Social: Each season, CGC sponsors a full schedule of events including golf, tennis, swimming, dining, and entertainment

~Amenities: Terraced Driving Range, Chipping Range, Practive Putting Green, Caddy Program, modernized and expanded locker rooms, outdoor tennis courts, paddle tennis, Kids Lounge, private dining rooms, outdoor pool with swim team and synchronized swim programs.
